A little bit of Christmas cheer. / myLot

It's not unusual to see homes and businesses start decorating for Christmas around this time of year. While many would start on or around Thanksgiving weekend, yesterday we saw two to three examples of stores homes and businesses preparing for the Christmas holiday. While out and about, George pointed out one house that had holiday decorations up. Ormand city hall was starting to decorate and the Toco Bell we visited had a couple Christmas trees and decorations sprinkled around the store. It's a reminder, after the disaster that was Ian and Nicole people are looking for that holiday cheer.

Here most of the malls have Christmas decorations already. And some houses too

Yeah, but you don't celebrate Thanksgiving, really. And I don't think you have Halloween over there, either.

We tend to look for a small window of good weather in November sometime to decorate the house outside. Usually we get one.

@porwest Here in Florida, it can still be in the 80's in october. It's not unusal to have a miserable Haloween, then be hot on Christmas.

There are some around here too, and I was watching a TV show this AM and the set was decorated for Christmas..Too early..

Advance happy holidays. Yes, many people and stores have started lighting up their Christmas lights and preparing their gifts. I hope everyone has recovered from the disaster, so you could all spend a happy holiday.
