They are not real

I no longer buy jewellery - neither real pearls, gold nor diamonds. I have been there and done that in the past. But occasionally I go for artificial jewellery whenever I buy a new outfit - not more than once a year. .
I have bought a pearl necklace and a pair of pearl earrings to go with my new outfit. I buy a new outfit whenever I have that party for poor kids during Xmas time. These pearls are not real - just to get the feel good factor.
What have you done recently to get the feel good factor?.

Artificial jewellery can enhance the looks specially when they match the clothes one wears

@allknowing I agree some artificial jewels are really pretty. My grandmother used to say that it's the person who wears the jewels that make them look important, I think she was right.

I am not interested in jewelleries at all. I wore them in my wedding and that's all. Now they were in the safe. I think it is totally OK to wear the artificial jewellery. They are beautiful and especially you don't have to worry about if they are lost.

Pieces of Jewelry usually depreciate in price. I'm not too fond of jewelry too and I prefer using artificial ones as well. My good factor vibes come from watching and listening to my favorite boy band, BTS. Whenever I listen to their songs and read the translated lyrics, they inspire me. Sometimes, their songs even make me cry because of how they reflect my life and how I should go about combatting depression, loneliness, and failure.

Not much really for feel good lately. I do have my eye on a new cardigan sweater, though, and likely will buy it.

No matter what the situation we need to pamper ourselves and that is one way to face those situations. I know your husband is not well but please you need to keep yourself charged.

I have overspent is what I have done.
But it was things that I needed really.
A few hooded sweat shirts for instance.
I also would go for the fake jewelry at this stage of my life.
Like you, been there, done that.
Only the finest I could buy or someone else could buy me back then

@Fleura I think you are a bit harsh on pale skinned women. Not fair

@allknowing I know, some families use it as a sort of savings system.
But also Indian women, with their browner skin and different traditions, look fantastic with lots of gold jewellery, like queens. Pale-skinned women with lots of gold jewellery just look like tarts
