Dear Charlie Brown

Tonight on the MeTV channel on cable is "100 Years of Charles Schulz". I love them. I had a color book that I saved from childhood that was Charlie Brown and all the gang. He is such a good-hearted kid. His friends are so cute and lovable. You gotta love Lucy who seems to run the show as far as Charlie is concerned. Linus, Sally, Shroeder, Peppermint Patty, Mardie, Franklin, Pigpen, Woodstock, Snoopy, and himself=Charlie Brown. Seeing life through the eyes of a child. That's the way to do it. We make it an occasion and watch the yearly Charlie Brown on the different holidays. Have to have some positive things to look forward to. Even silly and mundane ones are better than the alternative.

I liked that era when cartoon characters were like Charlie Brown as an innocent child living life in a simple way instead of the dark stories that are being displayed as entertainment today.

@celticeagle Sad to say for the worse which many child doctors are saying that kids watching today's cartoons with adult themes will ruin them.

I have always loved the Charlie Brown comics, I still have my old books. My husband called me Woodstock as I typed as the little bird did for Snoopy.
