People of Facebook: They got remarried but that’s not the ironic part

Quite some time back I started a series with the title People of Facebook. I haven’t come across anything new for the series until now. I worked back in 2000 with a wonderful woman named Tracy. She was married to a man named Scott. I found out not to long ago that they had divorced. My husband is friends with Scott and I found out he remarried a woman named Tracy. I said that was a little odd. Two days ago Tracy that I used to work with sent me a friend request on Facebook and I saw that she remarried a man named Scott. I was a bit stunned by how ironic this was. Photo is a pretty way the thrift store my daughter works at chose to reuse and old chair to display items for sale.

Maybe they fell in love for the second time around. Giving each other another chance

@magallon I must not have explained it well enough. They married new people with the same name as their exes.

@shaggin wow that is something odd. I think Memories of the past will always come back everytime they mention the name of their partner.

@shaggin did you marry again? I am widowed at 44, have 5 children, all professionals now and not interested to remarry.

That surely is odd, weird that found someone with the same name as their previous partner.

@LadyDuck when I saw Scott had remarried another Tracy I thought that was odd but I’ve seen it happen before. But when I saw that Tracy had also married another Scott I thought that was just too ironic.

Wow that is very ironic. It has always baffled me, people remarrying the same person again. I love that thrift store!!

@RebeccasFarm well this man and woman didn’t get remarried though. They just both married new people who happened to have the same name as their previous spouses. So odd. Makes me wonder how common the name Tracy and Scott are. My first husbands mother and father divorced before he was born and then got remarried. I found that odd but wonderful too they made things work and got back together if they hadn’t my first husband would never have been here nor would my own children.

That's very ironic indeed. My great-niece lost her older brother to a brain tumour. She has now married a man with the same name as her brother and the same birthdate (but not the same year). That's pretty coincidental too.

@Judyev oh wow that really is ironic. Makes it seem like it’s meant to be though a sign from above.

@shaggin That's we all choose to believe. A sign that the brother is looking out for her.

That all does sound a bit ironic. The shop does a great job at displaying the items.

@CarolDm they are all so creative with the decorations they make. I love to see my daughter there often and to see what new decorations are out.

I guess they liked the names better than the spouses.

@allknowing I worked with her and at that time she was as married to the man my husband is now friends with. The Scott she remarried is a different man though and while I know of him I have never met him.

@Fleura that is interesting. Must be both are common names. Scott I know is but I didn’t expect Tracy to be.
