For whatever reason, we tend to use a lot of AA batteries. The remotes take them, and they are used for other things, even in a couple of our clocks. There are a couple in our thermostat.
When they are "dead," I keep them instead...

For whatever reason, we tend to use a lot of AA batteries. The remotes take them, and they are used for other things, even in a couple of our clocks. There are a couple in our thermostat.
