I am watching the Family Channel and HGTV's David Bromstad holiday. He is decorating his new Orlando, Florida home for Christmas. He is Norwegian and is decorating with gnomes and stuff from his Norwegian background. For those who don't know who he is he is a home decor expert who won the debut season of HGTV's Design Star in 2006, and he has been a popular celebrity on the channel ever since.
He is so fun and energetic. Has some great ideas for decorating the home. He has a unique eye for making a cheery and warm area for the entire family to enjoy. A dozen or more trees are all over the living room and dining room each with a different theme. He even had some elves in the bathroom.
Do you have decorations you've saved down through the years? I have some my grandmother gave me that she knew I loved. Square and rectangular glass painted with red and blue and gold. Wreaths, candy canes, stars, and all manner of lovely Christmas oddities. They are so prized by me and remind me of the holidays gone by.

@celticeagle - I am glad that I left some things in my Mom's apartment, we moved so much during our life, but we could finally get back those things when we bought this house to live here.

I wish I had, but during my younger years, the family almost always buys new decorations during Christmas, Right now, I only have the Christmas tree and the decors we had last year, so I may buy some new stuff to decorate it with. Advance Merry Christmas.
