29 November - What I'm Thankful for Today

Tomorrow is the last day of the month. I can tell you it has been different. Normally, I work on a book with NaNoWriMo. Though I worked on a book, I did not come near 50K words as I usually do with ease.
I'm thankful for the work I did on the books I worked on. Today, I worked on Where Eagles Soar.
I'm thankful for getting all the Christmas cards in the mail before the mailman showed up.
I'm thankful for what I accomplished this morning as I got up at 12:45 AM. I am especially thankful for the nap I got from 5-7:30.
I'm thankful for getting stamps, and more cards, and new slippers this morning.
I'm also thankful for the wonderful friends here on myLot. You make my day every day.

I am thankful for the sunshine. The fact that Chilly acts healthy still. That my mishap with a tree only resulted in a tiny scratch on my foot. George said it wasn't deep enough to really draw blood. So, that's something to be thankful for, too.

i'd find 't quite diff'cult to be workin' so many books 't the same time. bravo to ya fer 'ttemptin' such a feat.
what possessed ya to 'waken that danged early?? my slumber time 'tis all 'skew. one should ne'er go where there'd be a time zone diff'rence, lol.
i refuse to believe that such a holiday 'tis loomin' so closely by. cannot figure what happened to this year?

The year did zoom by on wings.
I don't have a problem with working on so many books at once.
Usually, it's my back that wakes me early. I've also been dealing with a pulled muscle for a couple of weeks. So I get the minimum and then the pain wakes me.

I like you mug. Glad things went well for you about the cards. And for your book you got to work on. I am thankful storms that were due haven't made it yet. Thankful just for a nice slow day, and things being as well as they are. Hope storms pass us by.

I am thankful that the storms that were supposed to come to my area are likely to be minor rains coming later this evening and being able to share good news stories on this site.
