Winding up November

So I did manage to reach payout, in spite of not being here much. I remember when it used to be $10, and I would make it every other month. We found a place that should have the parts we need for the car. I found someone to work with Bob to pull the parts and put them on. He is telling us to set our price. Right now he is out front talking with Bob. He is familiar with where we are going for the parts. Taking me to work, and working on the car is making Bob happy, and he feels useful. I think things will be okay. We will begin saving for another car, though, as this one has a lot of miles.

I also remember when the payouts on this site were $10. I am happy for you that the auto that you have in your possession still has plenty of mileage left.

I've got a friend who likes to work on cars. When mine has problems, she takes me with her to pull parts and then changes them out for me. She works cheap, at least for me. Usually charging me a good meal... I can do that.

@GardenGerty My friend works for herself and won't let me give her money. She also doesn't have any kids and her hubby pays their bills.

We had a Buick that had a lot of miles on it. Jay sold it last year, the man is still very happy with that car!

When it has been well cared for a good used car is a bargain.

@GardenGerty Yes, and a brand new car is priced, far above its actual value!

Me too, made payout. Glad car is being checked! Good luck saving up for new car! See's Candy Shop has egg nog truffles.... I wanted to go yesterday with my essential shopping, but ran out of time. Friday, Safeway $5 Friday shopping, si hoping to get time for See's Candy Shop. I promised my Resident Manager, bento because on of all days, Thanksgiving, my plug didn't work. He had to make sure wasn't fire hazard. He had lots of Thanksgiving food, si we decided bento for appreciative thanks, later. Later is today...got myself a nice shrimp tempura plate too. Now Christmas decorating must begin.

I am not far from reaching pay out, I will see if I make it. I hope things go well with your car. I wish I even had a car, but then come up with the darn gas money to put the high price of gasoline in it now.

I have two jobs that require me to drive. Gotta have a car. If I could do without it I would. If there was public transportation here that would help.
