A new month has arrived and is feeling like December out there. Maybe since it is clear today and not windy, I can put up the battery operated lights outside Actually, I have one string I never took offbecause it was lighting for months. Wow! I have to find out what kind of batteries were in them. I need to get some more ornament hooks too, every year I seem to misplace them..

My sister's birthday is tomorrow. I already gave her her gift when I was up there for Thanksgiving, but I still have to get a card in the mail. I wish her bday wasn't so close to Christmas.

@snowy22315 My remaining sister's birthday is on the 25th. I remember her complaining about receiving Christmas gifts and no birthday gifts.

We are mostly decorated here.
I think that my hubby wants to put up a few more lights outside, but it isn't necessary.
I need to buy some more wrapping paper and do some more wrapping.
We are seriously low on wrapping paper around here, I normally buy some reduced on Boxing Day, but I didn't do that last year.

I don't have a ton, but I don't give that many gifts. More lights makes things festive.

@snowy22315 We don't give alot of gifts either, but I only have 2 rolls of wrapping paper, and we never use gift bags for Christmas. Its dire here. I might have to send my hubs out to get some, I have to be careful of going out with this new infection, its kicking my butt.

I haven’t gotten any decorations out but I did get the Christmas books out for the baby and read them all to her.

I lose those ornament hooks every year too. When I was hanging some ornaments on the tree I saw that some of them had paper clips instead of hooks. Talk about improvising!!
The weather didn't cooperate for us to decorate outside yet. I noticed a lot of my neighbors got their outside lights up already.

Mine are very simple, just a few candles and some pinecones which Tuffy is having a blast with the lil stinker.
