I am cold today

I've been cold for days. I did have a Dr. appointment the other day, he says it's partly neuropathy and the big weight loss. He also said, as we age we do feel colder than we used to. He does think it will improve some as time passes and my body gets used to being smaller with less fat on it. I hope so. I tried keeping my heat on 68-70 to save some $. I felt like I was going to croak, that didn't work. It's on 72. I plan on leaving it there if I can. I am currently wearing a pair of warm sweatpants, a fleece top, slippers, and my Land's End robe. I'm sure I look just lovely, but I am home today and I just don't care. I'm clean and neat, just wearing a lot of clothes.

Please take care of yourself with this cold weather. It was pretty cold overnight before the sun came out this morning where it became warm throughout the day.

I am always cold this time of year. The other day I sat on the couch that is near the window and I was freezing. One of my sister's gave me an electric blanket for Christmas last year and I have never got a chance to use it.

Good job. Cold here too, been on hot pad, and fleece blanket.

I hope it's not a sign you're getting sick. Try to drink something warm.

Is the wind blowing there? We keep our thermostat set at 73F and I'm usually too warm at that temp but Pretty is still a little too cool at that temp. It's the best we can do. When the wind was whistling around the house a few days ago I bundled up in a long sleeved shirt and sweats (I had to "borrow" MY sweats back from Pretty...) and she was dragging around an electric blanket and plugging it in every time she stopped for a minute somewhere in the house. We don't have any leaks for cold air to seep into the house now. I've spent the last four years plugging all the leaks. I'm thinking it was the sound of the wind whistling around the house that was making us feel colder than normal. I hope you are warm enough now.

I HATE being cold. It's much easier for me to cool off than get warm. Where is summer?????
