One of my sisters will be celebrating her milestone birthday on December 22

This sister is now living with her children who are settled in the US. One is in New Jersey and the other in California
They are organizing a zoom meet to celebrate her birthday. I am not sure if we will be a part of that zoom and so this poem I composed for her a long time ago will be more than what I would have said at that zoom meeting
My thoughts go back to yesteryears
When we played together we had no fears
They used to call us “we four”
You the leader to the fore.
Full of bounce without a care
Doing things with all the dare
You always worked behind the scenes
Yet frisky, bubbly full of beans.
You were the stylish of the lot
You taught us manners, gifts you bought
Yet in studies you got us worried
With the books you just hurried.
I miss those days ever so
But memories keep me on the go
Keeping in touch is the only way
To revive memories day by day

They have kept the zoom meet on December 18 and I am not available for that. So I asked my niece to Whats App it.
