5 December - What I'm Thankful for Today

Today was one of those days you just don't want to do anything. Though, there is always something to be thankful for.
Today, I'm thankful for my neighbor down the hall. I've been a Debbie Downer today. She cheered me up, put a smile on my face, and had me laughing. She also bought a copy of Scarred.
I'm thankful I didn't need to fight with the clerk at Family Dollar this morning. I found a receipt for what I bought last weekend. There were four items on it that I didn't buy. When I went to the store, he remembered me. He said there was a package behind the counter that wasn't there any longer. I found two items for two of the ones charged on the receipt, and he refunded me the other two.
I'm thankful I found a nice wreath for my door at the hardware store when I left Family Dollar. I was looking for something else, but what I found was too big. I'll need to look elsewhere for this Christmas present.
I'm thankful for the two naps I had today. The first after I made my first post, and the second when I got home from shopping. I was trying to watch a movie when I kept falling asleep.
I'm thankful I got the notifications finished. There's always more on Monday because I'm not on the computer on Sunday. It's good to know how your weekends were.

I'm glad the $ store guy remembered you. That's a nice wreath. We got a new one. Two naps? Interesting.

@just4him ........You get up so early and can see why you might need a nap. I stayed up until about 9a. this morning. Been watching too much tv.

Pretty used to get mad at me when we'd go to the movies. I'd fall asleep half-way through the movie and wake up when I heard the ending credits. She told me she might as well leave me at home and save the money. (I did point out that it was my money and she couldn't get to the movies if I didn't drive her there. 
)
I'm feeling better after the low BP scare yesterday and Pretty is feeling better, too. We have no idea what caused either problem... My BP is back up to "normal" now.2 people like this

@just4him We haven't gone to the movies in ten or fifteen years... So when I sleep had nothing to do with it. If I get bored, I fall asleep. Sitting quietly and less than entertaining movies, in my opinion, was the problem.

Thankful the electric wasnt off very long.

Glad you had a neighbor, that cheered you up, we all need that sometimes. I had a lot to do today, and got it all done. Thankful, for health, activity of limbs. Just thankful for His mercy. Glad to have good friends, and the basics of life.

I am thankful I finally got my Walmart recipe accepted on Ibotta and I made more than 5 dolalrs on it. I am thankful the broccoli cheese soup I made wa declicious. I am thankful that sis and fam were thrilled with their gift, even though they didn't wait until Christmas. I am thankful my stupid cousin's son wasn't killed when he hit a cow.

Beautiful wreath. I'm thankful for my favorite dish that my DIL cooked. I'm thankful I'm able to come to MyLot and reply to some discussions. I'm thankful that I had my grandkid run errands for me.
I'm thankful too for the delicious meals throughout the day cooked my DIL

It's okay to have a bad day, but I'm happy you're feeling a whole lot better, too. I think that's good. I'm thankful my husband managed to get what he wanted accomplished today, and we got our decorating done early. Minous any tweaking we've got. We're going to Walmart tomorrow. So, we'll find what we're looking for hopefully. I'm thankful he seems happier now that things are nearing the end of the tunnel.
