Oranges

Oranges do not grow here but around this time our markets are loaded as they are imported from other States where they grow.
It coincides with the Christmas season and at every party I host I give away oranges. I like the smell of oranges and when everyone opens them the smell spreads all around.
I associate the smell of oranges with cheerfulness as that is what Christmas is all about.
What is your favourite fruit?

My favorite fruit is peaches but this is the wrong time of year here to buy peaches. Even if they're imported, the peaches aren't good so I won't buy them. During this time of year, I also buy lots of oranges. I love the smell left on my hands after I peel and eat the oranges. I buy them by the large bag full.

I too have a few in the small basket that were bought yesterday I too like the smell that it leaves after I have peeled it.

It must be quite a treat then since they do not grow in your state.

O prefer strawberries and pears. Both do grow here but out of season right now

Oranges seem to be what we get here this season although imported. I like strawberries and pears as well.
