My newsfeed is headlining with information that is going to leave Irish people everywhere shocked and horrified - it will be cold next week. It’s December, it’s Ireland, and at least the truth is being reported accurately - it certainly will be cold next week. There is no misrepresenting of the truth, no cover-up, no fakery, just banality masquerading as an exclusive revelation of shocking news. Now if the BBC had revealed that King Charles had gone out wearing odd socks yesterday that would be worth reading, but cold weather in December in Ireland? I think not. And by cold it means -4 degrees centigrade. 24F.

We are also going to have a very cold week. We expect snow by this evening and with a temperature below zero it will surely form ice. I went out grocery shopping today and I am ready to stay inside a full week if necessary. Now let me check about King Charles.

We were speaking with Damian last night and he was telling us there was a cold snap coming. The house they are in now they are able to make warm. Other houses have been nearly impossible to warm.

I wonder what they go through to keep the media from finding out about the odd socks? Hmm.

Yesterday I saw a headline 'What is causing this cold spell?' I didn't read it but I would expect the answer to be 'Winter!'

Tell them once again to get prepared for it.
