Some good news to start the morning. Some lady's cat came back after 3 months,She posted it on next door. She said he was frail and tired, but seemed happy to be back. She and the cat were both really lucky, with the critters around here. I was hoping that it was the lady who was missing the dog. There were posters all over the county about that, but the dog was 13 and a half and had dementia. There were a few sightings and someone even got it to take some treats and cookies, but no return that I know of. I hope everyone has a great day...keep your furry friends safe.

I am glad the cat came back home. I fear the dog cannot find his way home if he has dementia.

I am certain. I know how I would feel if Nico disappeared like that. I did have one that got out that never came back,,but we moved within a month or two of his disappearance. I wonder if he ever tried to come back? We will never know.

@snowy22315 I had a few cats that disappeared like that way back when my children were young. It's a mystery where they went or what happened. I know you would be so upset if Nico got out and you couldn't find him.

I´m sure that Luna would be terrified if I sent her out on the streets as I did with Misty. Misty knew her way around. She would go for a morning walk and when she wanted to come back she stood at the door wagging her tail until some passer by rang the bell. Misty was trained by my ex son in law. And although he wasn´t the best of husbands, he was an awesome dog trainer.

My dog got out of the Invisible fence a few times and went wandering. He didn't go far though...came back half an hour later wagging his tail.

@snowy22315 They know their territory. Yesterday, when Carolina and Enzo were saying goodbye, Luna came to them. Enzo was worried that she´d run out but I knew that she wouldn´t. In fact, as soon as they got into the Uber, she went back to her natural place.

It's sad when pets get dementia. Good news about the cat.
