So today I put up the Christmas decorations with my husband and children. We stayed in all day as it was too cold to go outside. I then spent the rest of the day, applying for jobs. I got a heating pad and heating blanket this year, as I can't tolerate the cold weather even after putting the heating on.

I have not done any Christmas decoration while in Saudi but the institute where I was working parttime already have our Christmas decorations.

I usually like to start getting my decorations up by December 1st but I didn’t put many up this year and think it was a little later then the first. Do you always put yours up around the same time like I like to or does it vary?

That is a lovely decoration, Tomorrow I am setting up my little Christmas tree and some other decorations and see if my three cats take it all down afterwards,

Sometimes the cold could be so extreme to the extent of not withstanding it even with the best protective gear we can ever have

The cost for heating is so high, I prefer not to use my whole home heating and use electric blankets and space heaters instead. Hey, that is what sweaters are for.
