...And, now he's home.

George just got home for the last time. He is officially retired and loving every minute of it. Well, I don't think the reality has hit, yet. He's been working for Pizza Hut a total of twenty-nine years. So, it'll be a life change for us both. I'll get my moments of peace and quiet while he spends his time outdoors. So I'll just have to learn to work around him to get house work and other things done.

29 years at Pizza Hut. Amazing. I wish him well as he settles into retirement.

I don't disagree. Very few last that long at any one job, especially one considered to be a starter job.

@sallypup He was. He still has a lot of keys, but I imagine he doesn't know what they belonged to.

Mom had some hard time adjusting to have Dad at home all the time when he retired. I worked with (for) my husband during all my life, nothing changed for me.

I think it'll be more of an adjustment for George. I've gotten a taste of what it'd be like, and how to work around him being home.

@LadyDuck Oh my god, I am so sorry. That must've been a miserable three months if that happened.

@kaylachan - We were devastated, my Dad had a heart attack, he was not sick.
