Thursday Morning Brief

It SNOWED. I was beginning to wonder if the weather people lied again. When I woke up at 1:33, it was still raining. When I decided to get up at 2, it had changed over to snow. You can see the results above. I just took pictures. You can see the driveway lights are still on. It's just daylight here.
Today is Canasta with the ladies, and tonight there's a round-robin as several people carol through the halls and visit apartments. I'll need to get the apartment spiffy-looking if I want people to come in and look at the decorating I've done. Not much, but I'm happy with it.
I've been busy this morning with my usual and finished another chapter in Destination Love. I have about 40 pages left on this preliminary edit. So you know all the last-minute excitement is taking place before the end. I'll be working on it more today and try to be here as well to take care of notifications. Lots to do.

It’s storming pretty badly here in north Florida, but it should taper off by about noon as the cold front finally pushes through.

Pretty picture of the snow you finally got. We got some too but it's all going to change to sleet and then rain. Just a nasty day all the way around.
The round robin of people caroling sounds like fun. Enjoy your day

I got it wrong. We didn't carol, but we did visit different apartments to see their decorations. Everyone does a great job decorating. Lots of walking, which was good with the treats we enjoyed at the end.

Oh yes, I'm sure you enjoyed the snow. Actually it is very beautiful. Have fun with guests and that Canasta , is it a card game?

You're back, good! Snowing, nice. My day was good. Went shopping near by Marukai Wholesale Mart. They've new years food out and our traditional New Years decorations too. Got all my food, decorations, so I'm relaxed now. Come Christmas day, they'll be open. Need to get greenery decorations for Japanese New Year. Then got to begin Japanese New Year decorating.
