Good morning from this side of the planet 
It's 11:23 AM here. It's another bright sunny day with cold breeze. A perfect day to soak in the sun and take your Vitamin D dose.
. I am doing that right now on my terrace with my phone for mylotting.
Back from work
. The holiday mood has set in as we get our Christmas vacation from this Thursday till 2nd January.
It's nice weather and I hope to get a few things done around the house today. Husband is working from home. Since his clients are in the US, the vacation mood has set in and it's been relaxed at the work and would be so till new year.
We don't have any plans to travel or do something special. So, it would be ideal vacation being lazy, relaxed and maybe get a few things done around the house
I never tried panoramic view in my phone. My husband clicked this picture using the feature in my phone. That captures almost whole of my terrace garden. You can see me relaxing there in the picture enjoying the sun And there are the washed sheets drying on the cloth stand
. I love my terrace with the beautiful garden. It's a great view from my master bedroom.
My last post was on December 2nd. So, this one comes after a long break. December was inactive month for mylotting but a pretty active one otherwise. I might reach my first dollar of the month today. Hope to catch up with the activity here in the remaining few days of this month and this year.
Well, enough blabbering for now. Will keep you posted about the other happenings in more posts. Don't want this one to be too long to bore you.

I envy you a lot. I dont have holidays. Your terrace looks awesome. I would have used a chatai called madur in bengali and slept the whole day in the sun.

Sorry that you don't get holidays. Being a teacher, we get enough holidays. To make you more envious, in an academic year, the maximum working days never crosses 190 days. So the rest of the time we have holidays .
And I envy you for all the wonderful vacations that you go for. We have plans but it doesn't get executed all the times.
Terrace is the best part of my penthouse. I love it. And we do use chatai to sleep and relax in the sun

@arunima25 thanks Arunamji you are really making me envious. I have offices and university for the best time of the year. Now in Calcutta temperature is 13 degree celsius and it will continue till middle of january. I find children going for picnic. But I have office duties. Your terrace is the source of your freshness of thoughts, good number of potted plants, lovely sunshine and fresh romantic air

@sathviksouvik Hmmm....with such busy schedule throughout the year, you have to steal some days and go ahead with vacation. And you do it as it is evident from your posts about all the wonderful travels that you make

My husband and I never used this feature..Yes, our daughters had used it several times in our phone and we were aware that the feature is there . Now, I plan to use it more when I take pictures. I hardly take pictures .
The terrace area is quite big. This was the main reason that I wanted this house so badly..

@allknowing I can understand that. With this digital photo era, most of us have these photo folders in a mess. And it is overwhelming to sort them out. I have been trying that for quite some time now

The vacation officially starts from Thursday. I plan to stay relaxed, do lot of mylotting and other sites, finish few chores, and watch at least one movie every day. I have a lot to keep me busy and enjoy the vacation at home.

Thank you. This terrace was the thing that made me sure that I want to buy this penthouse.. And I am happy that I did. I love to wake up to this view every morning. Our master bedroom opens to this view.
The holidays start from Thursday and so the last two days at work. I am looking forward to relaxation and fun watching some good movies.

Your terrace is lovely; and you have a LOT of potted plants. Have a good week. It is going to be in the single digits the end of this week (-14.4 Celsius). Not looking forward to that!

Thank you. My terrace was the main reason for us to buy this penthouse. I love gardening and so I have made a beautiful garden there with a lots of plants. I have vegetables growing in those green vegetable bags.

It's my most favourite part of my house. Just is a heaven on a pleasant day when one can sit out and enjoy. I don't celebrate Christmas but my daughters did all these years with Christmas tree decorations, carols and gifts under tree. But this year nothing of that sort. It's all quiet.
I liked this wide angle view. I am still to use this feature in my phone

@RebeccasFarm I totally agree there. There is a Christmas party in our apartment with some fun games and food stalls. So, I might go down there with my daughter on Sunday and enjoy it.

@cool83 Yes, we live in urban area that is populous and has lot of hustles and bustles of cities. Both my daughters are in the crucial years..so they don't have a long vacation. Only on Christmas Eve and Christmas...and that happens to be weekend.
