26 December - What I'm Thankful for Today

Today was a good day. Another day of quiet relaxation. And recuperating from Christmas.
I'm thankful I slept in this morning. I got up at 4 AM instead of 1:30, 2, or 2:30. I think I got almost 8 hours of sleep. It felt good to sleep in.
I'm thankful for the nap I got this morning. Even with all the sleep I got last night, I was ready for my morning nap at 10:30 and got another hour and a half.
I'm thankful for the exercise class this morning. We were light this morning. Only four of us. The others are still out of town.
I'm thankful for the reveal party this afternoon. I almost didn't find out who my Secret Santa was. She came in when it was almost over from a doctor's appointment. I didn't know who she was. I was grateful George liked the gifts I got him. It was fun. I took some pictures of the group as we sat around drinking coffee and eating sweets. I only had one, a homemade something I'd never had before. I don't know if I like them.
I'm thankful I could finally log onto the computer. It turned out my keyboard wasn't completely attached.
Okay, that's my day. I'm trying to stay up later than usual. I have a church Christmas party tomorrow night and I always stay up late on New Year's Eve. One of the ladies from my exercise class suggested a New Year's Eve party. It should be fun. There will be games and snacks.

We're expecting hard rain here any moment. I should be thankful for the rain since we're still dealing with drought, but I worry that it will be too much at once and will just run off into the bay instead of soaking into the ground.

Thankful it is slowly warming up here. Also that we didnt get more white stuff today. Glad everyone enjoyed the party
