Last day of the year...

And last day of the month. And if you take Sunday as the start of the week, it is last day of the week too.
We gear up for the New year. It's 10 PM and it would be here in couple of hours. Some parts of the world has already welcomed 2023 and some are gearing up for it. It's New year's eve and it's party in the air.
But it's a another silent one for us in the cozy home, no energy to be outdoors as we are recovering from flu. I can hear the Mahatosava celebration going on in the apartment complex. Sorry about not being able to post a series on the celebration as I proposed due to this nasty flu. But I would definitely make one post tomorrow to sum it up

I didn't want to miss my favourite site and wonderful community on the last day of the year.
Was bit active online in the last two days. But I traded my mylot time with the other two sites where some rewards and holiday bonus was there. I wanted to take advantage of that. I had to add some fifteen dollars more to donate to the blind school. I couldn't be there this time during Christmas and thought of giving some of my online earnings as donation there. So, I did make few dollars there and now I am ready to request for payment in couple of days. I will visit them on 9th January to hand them over the money. Sometimes it's good to trade mylotting time for some noble cause.

Sorry to hear about your Flu condition. I hope that you recover well.
December 2022 has been a tough time for me as well.
My kids, my wife got ill more than once.
Even I have had a combination of Flu-cough-cold twice.
My cold is taking longer to heal and so of my kids.
Wife had Mild Stomach infection in between.
Doctor consultation and medicines have hit me hard.
Plus some other expenses.
Apart from the expenses, related things too impacted.
Year end I did get some relief as School timings got sightly changed and our Office work was leaner over the last week or so.
From 2nd January, things will start for office in full steam.
As of now, its 33 minutes to 2023!

Oh! That sounds like a terrible December there. Hope the new year is great for us. This sickness cycle started from Christmas day here and it's been more than a week and none of us are feeling okay till now. Antibiotics can be awful. Not sure if we actually need it, but doctors prescribe it and we are not sure and just follow it. Antibiotics don't go well with us. We get those stomach discomforts. It's been awful. Even on the first day of the year, we all were just feeling not too well. Plan to take few days off. I am feeling all nauseated and giddy all the time. I have noticed that our immunity is compromised after Covid infection. I have fallen more sick in these two years than the whole of my life. Also, the viral flu is no more like the earlier ones. It leaves us terribly weak for days.

Doctors normally recommend Probiotics with antibiotics these days.
Enterogermina capsules can be helpful.
May be you can try out to help with stomach issues.
Even the Normal Flu virus could be modified these days.
Let's hope for Healthier days ahead in 2023.

Yes such Flus affect the body a lot.
Here, a couple of other health problems too have cropped up in the family.
Apart from Money, Mental peace too gets blown off.
I have to take care of family as well as ultra busy official work as well.

Yes, I was awake. Actually, we are recovering from the seasonal flu...sleep wake rhythm is out of track with all rest and naps. We kept watching Everybody loves Raymond.

@arunima25 I am also pretty busy, my husband is not very well and I go with him every time he needs to have tests and exams at the hospital. We are waiting for a call from his doctor to see what they have found wrong at the hospital.

We are halfway through the first month of the year. It's going pretty hectic here with lots happening in offline world. So, I am less found in online space these days. Got a lot to catch up here.
Hope it's a great year for everyone. World has seen enough in the last two years with this nasty pandemic and war going on.

Donating money to the school for the blind, a very worthy cause to support! We donate to St. Jude's Children's Cancer Hospital, they never charge these families anything, for cancer treatment. Our New Year's will be celebrated at home, watching the football game on TV and watching the ball drop, in NYC(on TV).
