I Wish I Could Post More

I really wish I could post more here on myLot. I would love to post morning, mid-day, and evening, but I get wrapped up in different projects and forget about posting until it's almost time for bed. And who is even on myLot then? Most people are probably already in bed by the time I get to posting. I am going to try posting in the morning when I am drinking my coffee, after lunch when I drink my tea and have my 2 squares of dark chocolate, and then also at night before I go to sleep. Maybe I should make that part of my goals for the year. I already have 17, haha...having too many goals is probably expecting too much. How often do you post on myLot?

Because I'm at the other end of the globe, many people are in bed when I post but my friends here seem to catch up with my scribblings next day.

@JudyEv I have yet to see you "scribbling" anything. Your posts always seem well thought out and interesting to me.

I write a discussion starter about once a month. I usually can't think of anything I believe is interesting to talk about.

@DaddyEvil Oh, I thought you posted a lot more than that. I guess I must be reading a lot of responses from you then on other people's posts.

@Kouponkaren Yes, I talk to a LOT of people on myLot every day. I hate writing discussion starters. Too many people aren't interested in reading the discussion starter so will only answer according to whatever is in the title.

I only post once in a while, when I have something to say. I do love to read and comment on other's posts though.

@Juliaacv Okay, that makes sense if it works for you. Seems I have a lot to say, but not enough time to sit down and say it!

I post good and odd news on this site around midafternoon since I have to be outside to pick up my nephew who is in high school when the school bus leaves him home.

@Kouponkaren I do have a routine to work on surveys for a few hours until they run out of surveys for me to take before I do some good news writing and pick up my nephew outside of the home when the school bus takes him home.

@Deepizzaguy Sounds like you also have a routine. I need to figure out the best times to come on myLot each day. Well, I mean the times that work best for me.

Many of my days are just insane, and I can't post. The nice thing is that mylot is forgiving and seems to welcome us all back in to the fold no matter how long we stay away. Don't make an impossible list of goals, it's a recipe for failure! Whittle it down to be realistic if you want to have goals. I used to do that but was discouraged because my list was always too long.

@MarieCoyle Too late for this year. I should have talked to you on 12/31 when I was making my list of goals!!!

@Kouponkaren Take a deep breath and tell yourself that if you only get some of it done, that's OK. I often think I expect way, way too much of myself. I try hard to keep up on things, but ultimately it seems like I never get everything done that I ''need'' to do. That's life, I do the best I can.

@popciclecold True, but I think there are times when more people are awake and have a chance to be on here. Of course, they can find my posts later too I guess.

I do not post that often because of time constraints.

I get a lot of errands too. But whats kept from going back to mylot was sleeping late and other things online. plus, help around with my brother when it comes to his business.

@Letranknight2015 I would like to get into a regular habit of coming on myLot and checking in 2 or 3 tomes per day when I have to sit down and eat or before I go to bed. I don't usually do errands at meal time so that may help me to remember to check in.

Some days I skip and just respond and other days I do one or more discussions.

@jstory07 Maybe I have set m thoughts too high and should just respond instead of being concerned about posting. I enjoy both the responding and posting though. My mind is always going a mile a minute though with thoughts I want to share or questions I want to ask.

It just really depends on my mood, how active we are doing other stuff and our Internet connection.

I'd rather read other people's posts than make them.
