Oh no! Gas prices are up again in California!

I suppose I'm really just checking in. Howdy! It's almost 11 AM in California, and I'm only on my second cup of coffee. It's still raining out. Last night's "big storm" brought some big rains and high winds, but life seems normal here. We had our power outage, but that's yesterday's news now. I already wrote about my "jam session" with a 10-year-old girl last night. My other favorite student from last night was a woman of about 30 with a great voice. We worked on Willie Nelson's Crazy and sounded pretty darned good! I am showing her some fancy licks on the acoustic guitar to accompany her singing. But my post is about gas prices. As of yesterday, Regular is up another dime at my "discount" station. It's now $3.99 after bottoming at $3.79. I filled up again a week or so ago at $3.89, anticipating a continued climb. Have gas prices started to inch higher where you live? How is your Thursday shaping up?

How rewarding your job must be. To hear the lovely voices and hear the fancy licks you have taught. Our gas prices here are about the same as yours. Thursday is shaping up pretty well. Two things accomplished and feel good about. Onward...

The price of regular at the gas station down the street was at $2.99 last night when Pretty and I were coming home from the hospital. I was too tired to care about filling the car then. I've still got half a tank from when I filled up at $2.69 a gallon. Have you checked into some of the apps you can put on your phone to pay for your gas at various stations? The Murphy's app gives you 10 cents a gallon off at the Walmart station here. I just woke up and your discussion is the first one I've read and responded to this evening. Pretty and I both slept all day and we're both still tired. I hope you've had a wonderful day, pony.

@TheHorse Nice! That's always a good feeling. It was too busy at our dentist's office the last time we were in to get our teeth cleaned. *shrug* There's always the next time we drive that far to see if they can get us in.

Petrol and diesel prices seem to be a bit more reasonable again here. On the other hand gas (as in for cooking, heating etc) has shot up.

Ours is going up tomorrow. The prediction is another three cents per liter. I filled up on my home from work. Off tomorrow with another doctor's appointment. At least I won't be burning up as much of it.

Three cents per litre is about 10 cents a gallon. We'll see what happens next.

No, our gas prices are stable. Your prices are probably going up because of the weather. Or any other excuse they can find to raise the price.

I have really felt bad for oil companies' executives, especially after Russia's invasion of Ukraine. Those guys must be hurting.

According to today's figures, it says we are at $3.284. As per my latest post I was looking for inspiration today and found it through some of my favorite music so I did all my blogging

I saw your city on the news last night! It looked like you got some flooded roads. We got a lot of rain, but not nearly the amount of wind as other areas. Gas at the Costco near me is currently $3.88/gallon. The Safeway near me is usually close to the Costco price, but something has definitely changed -- they've gone up to $4.25/gallon!

@TheHorse It looks like someone had entered an incorrect price in Gas Buddy, now verified that Safeway's gas is also $3.88/gallon.
