Yesterday Tania took me to the theatre. Jesters.

My grandson Daniel had his final 2nd year exam in acting and Tania took me there.
There was a whole part with jesters and the actors had made their own costumes and they all wrote the script which was mainly a cristicism against society. Very interesting.
Tania took some pictures (not the best, I must say) and I´ll share one with you.
See you later. I will now go back to sleep for a while.

@ifa225 I don´t know. But I have seen and read western thetre all my life. In other cultures it might mean something else.

The theatre director first explained to the audience about the role that jesters had played for centuries. I remembered la commedia dell'arte and the picture by Velázquez "Las Meninas".

Very much. We used to go often to the theater when my husband was alive. Now I don´t know anyone who is as interested as I am.

That was very creative that they sewed their own costumes and wrote their own scripts. I like the picture.
