I usually hear or read about children playing with guns left unsecured by careless adults, and the child may unintentionally shoot someone. Not so in this case. The report in the link below says a 6 year old child shot his teacher during an altercation - or argument !Thankfully the teacher was only injured. Now imagine a six year old taking a gun to school and deciding to shoot his teacher during an argument. The world is becoming more frightening day by day. What do you think?
RICHMOND, Va. (AP) — A Virginia teacher who was critically injured when she was was shot by a 6-year-old student in Newport News is showing signs of improvement as authorities struggle to understand how a child so young could be involved in a school shooti

@Kandae11 It's more the social media than TV. Sites like Tik Tok are like poison for young children. Also FB is not the best, with all those racist posts. Parents should monitor better what their kids do.

@LadyDuck Not enough supervision. They could also be influenced by bigger kids.

You know it is crazy this report..I do not know what to make of it. But the level of violence has obviously trickled down to kids even.

I can't say I'm that surprised, I expect he just thought that shooting the teacher would solve his perceived problem.

This incident was on the parents. They should be held accountable. Thoughts are with the teacher.

A difficult to like post. I wonder what Pony would do, or how he could control such behavior in kids, and identify the root cause for it....@TheHorse...hope you have the answers.

@Kandae11 I have heard stories where kids have shot someone for whatever reason they do it. I have heard stories in Arizona that if one stops at a stoplight and does not go right away someone shoots at them. What a world we are living in. Someone must have happened that the kid shot his or her teacher.

@Kandae11 That could be. Bullies do what they want and have no feelings for anyone.

Read about this news in Hong Kong too. That is really unbelievable. The parents should be investigated and questioned. How could they allow their son to gain access to such a weapon.
