Done Putting Down Decors

It was a plan after the new year because I still had 2-days left for vacation but I forgot to bring home big boxes from the office where I could put all my Christmas decorations. Plus, my boy loved to sleep in the couch. I just removed and put down all the decorations last weekend. I did not want to wait for another weekend to do this because I would not be motivated anymore. It took me the whole day to do all the cleaning. But I feel relieved and relaxed now that I have cleaned up things. I assume that most of you already cleaned up. Photo is mine

@cherigucchi - We have no dust downstairs in the family room where I put the decorations, they were perfectly clean and ready to store.

I still have my tree up. Most of the decorations are put away. I only have the ones given to me left on the tree. I don't usually take my tree down early. I'm glad you have yours down and everything put away and cleaned up.

I have to follow my schedule or else I would be having all the decorations displayed the whole year!

@just4him Of course not. My mother-in-law is having few of her decors in tact the whole year round. I also have some like the Christmas lights hanging in my window which stays there as long as it lights but I only turn them on when its christmas time.

@cherigucchi Now, is that such a bad thing? I have several decorations that stay up year-round along with my small fiber optic tree. Though it's turned off most of the year.

Well..I don't celebrate Christmas, so I don't have anything to decor or to clean up. I will be busy cleaning up all my house before Ramadhan in next March

I went to New Jersey to see my boyfriend so I didn't get to get rod of some decorations. I thought my mother would have, but she was lazy. So I took some down. I need to take down the outside ones.

I think I took our tree down the day after Christmas. That's the only decoration I put up this year.

It will be a big relief. If we keep procrastinating, things get too delayed and we loose the motivation.

@cacay1 Yes. Somehow with growing age and years, energy and enthusiasm are on decline

@cherigucchi That's always better to do. Stick to the schedule, else things never get done.

As we won't be home till about 23 January, we put our decorations away before we left on the 4th.
