teen ridiculed for saying 'Charles & Keith' was a luxury bag / myLot

A Singaporean teen was ridiculed online when she posted a video about getting her first luxury bag, a Charles & Keith. Many people say it is not even a luxury bag to begin with. Why can't people just be happy for others? What seems to be cheap and accessible for you, can be a luxury for others. I for one do not care about branded stuff but if someone it happy they bought something, I would compliment them.

Those people were jealous because they can't afford something like that so were trying to make the teen feel bad about what she could afford that they couldn't... It makes me angry when things like that happen. Help the person be happy with what they own, even if you can't afford it. Congratulate them and hope you can buy something as nice when you can afford it.

Many teenagers like brand clothes, but luxury brands are very expensive. Those expensive luxury goods sell people's vanity, and people's desire to compete is terrible.

I do not buy those too since I think it's overpriced.

But it's definitely not cool to make fun of others who do, or whether they think it's a luxury bag or not.

Charles & Keith bags are not "luxury", but they are pretty expensive bags, the price is over $ 100 for a small bag. People are envious this is why those horrible comments.
