Murder suspect, Brian Kohberger, appeared in court today to see whether he wanted to hurry proceedings along or? He prolonged it to June 2023. This will give his legal team time to strategize their defense and prosecutor time as well. His former lawyer, Jason LaBar, spoke to NewsNation Now about the case. He says there are some holes in the case as far as the probable cause affidavits show but he is confident more will be forthcoming. To recall what has happened so far: Kohberger was arrested on December 30 for the stabbing deaths of Kaylee Goncalves, 21, Madison Mogen, 21, Ethan Chapin, 20, and Xana Kernodle, 20. Kohberger was arrested at his parents' home in Albrightsville, Pennsylvania, and was extradited to Idaho. He is being held on four counts of first-degree murder as well as one count of felony burglary. This is going to be hard for the families of the murdered college students but good for the suspect. So, now we have to wait until June to get anything more on what happened or who this man is. If I read anything more I will post it.

That's about the average length of time for a rescheduled case to wait before going back to court again.

Yes. I think it says volumes about his narcissistic personality.

@DaddyEvil ......and if there are any witnesses they tend to lose their clarity on what exactly happened or what they saw.

@celticeagle It's actually a very smart move. In a case like this, people forget and lose interest if the trial isn't held right away. The jury won't be as interested or involved in the case as they are when the murders are still in the news.

That is the number one complaint that victims of crime have to deal with that the criminals get more rights than the families of the victims in the name of a fair trail for the suspect.

That's true but, if they aren't taken good care of then this could hinder the prosecutor's case.
