Time to finally get those "emotions in check" and end this series of my favorite emotional songs. But before I go it would "foolish" of me to not include this final playlist of tunes. Let's hear what you think: Comments, musings, your own favorite emotional songs and trivia welcome... 1. "Poor Little Fool"- Rick Nelson -Ricky was a year into his singing career when this song topped the charts. When Billboard magazine printed the first Hot 100 singles chart in August 1958, this was their first #1 hit. 2.. "Fool in the Rain"- Led Zepplin -If you're a Led Zep heavy metal fan I'm sure this made your list. Led Zepplin was not a "singles" type band, but this song was their last to chart in 1969, just missing the top twenty. 3. "Fool on the Hill"- The Beatles -It would be "foolish of me" to leave this Fab Four song from the Magical Mystery Tour LP off this list. What was the first Beatles song you remember hearing on the radio? Honorable Mention: Frankie Lymon & the Teenagers did a terrific fool-titled song way back in 1956 called "Why Do Fools Fall in Love." TRIVIA CHALLENGE ***Now for our trivia music challenge for those who like to play along. See if you can guess these selections. Words in "quote marks" provide valuable clues! Name this week's tune, artist or facts: 1. When his teen idol pop days ended Rick Nelson wrote "this song" after being booed at a New York concert performance at "Madison Square Garden" for playing new material and not sticking to just doing his old hits. -Do you know the name of this top ten song from 1972? 2. "This British rock band," not to be outdone by The Beatles, came up with one of their own "foolish songs in 1976." This tune was their only one to chart in England or the US from their "LP Black And Blue." This "ballad" is very different from some of the band's classics like "Sympathy for the Devil" or "Jumpin' Jack Flash." In this song the singer is down and looking for support from his loved ones, but they tell him he's a "Fool" to _______. (Shed tears) -Do you know the name of this rock band and their foolish song? 3. This song is about revolution which the artist felt was "foolish" and pointless. With the song's classic line, "Meet the new boss, same as the old boss," the musician felt whoever takes over is destined to become corrupt. This tune was written and recorded by the same band "who" made a "Rock Opera about a deaf, dumb and blind boy." -Do you know who they are and their song with "Fool" (ed) in the title? Wow! I feel like a fool for naming all these foolish titled songs, but they are all pretty good ones, right. So, don't you "play the fool" by not coming up with any correct answers! If you're stuck and need additional hints just let me know in your response. I'll be glad to supply one. Or, as Sam and Dave would say, "Hold On, I'm Comin." Thanks for reading and responding to my music post!!! I will return with a new edition soon. Hope you can wait till then, lol. Stay tuned... Source- Wikipedia & songfacts.com

Garden Party was the only one I could guess, I never was much of a RS or Who fan so I wouldn't have known those anyway.

@rebelann I usually gravitate to mellow rock stuff, but the Who was one of those Hard Rock exceptions. Loved that chaotic four Brits

It would be a "fools' game" to ignore FW's answers. Complete Trivia Answers: 1. "Garden Party" 2. The Rolling Stones- "Fool to Cry" 3. The Who- "Won't Get Fooled Again" The Rolling Stones had another successful ballad which charted in 1973 called "Angie." Remember that one about David Bowie's wife. Enjoy: and Don't be fooled again... Gotta love Pete's whirling dervish moves, lol

@dgobucks226 I have no idea what would have been the first Beatles song I remember. I have to be forgiven because it's probably around 65 years ago.
