"Working makes you live. I worked till l was 108". Those are the words of French nun Lucile Randon who died on Tuesday - two weeks before her 119th birthday. Known as Sister Andre she tested positive for Covid in January 2021 and experienced very mild symptoms. She did not even know she was infected , and lived another 2 years. Read all about this remarkable woman in the following clip. Do you have any centenarians and over in your family? Would you want to live that long? My maternal grandmother lived to 112 and my maternal grandfather lived to 106. No, I don't think I would like living that long.

I will not mind if I am as active as I am now. The only sad thing would be that my contacts would not be there.

As long as I am well and independent, I wouldn't mind to be a centenarian. I don't have centenarians in my family, the oldest one is my grandma, she is 94.

My aunt lived to 95. I don't want to live that long, unless I am really physically fit and can take care of myself.

If l am in pain and can do nothing for myself - no. However this lady seems to have been strong because she was infected with Covid at age117 and had very mild symptoms. She survived.

No one I knew made it that long, but I think it would be cool if I did. I wonder how far advance our world would be by then.

I can't even imagine living to be 119 yrs old. My mom and her sister both lived well into their 90s but didn't make it to 100.

I heard about this lady. Most people have a lot more issues before they even get near this age.

She lived through two world wars. What stories she would have been able to tell.

I know of very few in my family who lived past 100. Now one is 98 and my aunt passed away last month when she was 97+. I want to live as long as I am independent but that is not in my hands.

I am watching my mother suffering with false teeth and thinking of that RC nun. If God gives me good metabolism and strong teeth and bones (and health) like when I was in my late teens, I wouldn't mind living that long. As it is, I am already tired of life seriously.

Good for her. She was probably bored once she couldn't work anymore. No one in my family has lived past 85, but yes, I would love to live to be 100 if I could do it and still be healthy!

I read about a lady who celebrated her 100th by sky diving. Anything is possible.
