After pedicure I had an issue with one my big toes as it used to burn with constant walking probably the cuticle was injured while clipping the nails. I was applying some ointment and the pain did not go away. Then it occurred to me why not apply Aloe vera gel. I have a few plants. I cut one leaf and extracted the gel and applied on that toe and the area around. I applied twice once in the morning and once in the evening. Today is the second day and the pain has disappeared. I will continue applying may be for another day or two I was an MLM distributor for Aloe vera based products marketed by an American company but these days I am not active. I know the benefits of Aloe vera Here is the link

It has best benefits,we also have those plants in our house. My dad did forever living business long back .Then he brought few aloe vera juice bottles, i used to suffer from asthma .Then daily in the morning i used to have the juice with empty stomach. I did that for few months. I really felt good after that .

I too gave up as one has to work very hard to get down lines and follow up their activity as well.

Wow! That's amazing! I'm glad the Aloe vera got rid of your pain. I have trouble sometimes with my toenails. Problem is I can't reach to cut them and they grow long and rub the other toes, and then they break creating sharp edges. When I do manage to cut my toe nails I can't cut them properly and I leave some jagged bits! I need a chiropodist!

Even I cannot bend to cut my tow nails. I get some one from the Salon to do it. You should ask someone in the house for help My maid used to do it before but because of ill health I asked her to leave. At the moment I do not have a maid but my work is done by the gardener and I cannot ask him for help

@allknowing I used to get my Mum to do it, but she really doesn't like doing it!

@sharonelton You should not allow your nails to grow as they become hard and clipping them becomes a problem. I hope your Mum changes her mind. You should soak your feet in warm soap water when the nails soften.

@allknowing Right now here in Europe the Aloe Vera juice is very popular. It is sold in the grocery stores and many started to take it because "it's healthy". It's healthy if you are not pregnant, but women did not know, my niece had a miscarriage four years ago.
