Hey everyone, how are you all doing? Well I hope...
Another day has come to an end here. Before I go to bed I thought I would share my food/health journey for the day.
Weigh in - I did go down a little bit. Still haven't really lost any for the month though.
Blood sugars - Every time I checked with my freestyle libre it said under 100 (a lot under 80) but once it said in the 60's and I checked with a finger stick and it was 95. Sometimes they can be pretty far off depending where the sensor is placed. 95 is still a great blood sugar though. Just don't know what the other numbers were truly. The last check of the day said 84
What did I eat today?
Meal 1 - Pizza wrap using the low carb flatbread wrap.
It had pizza sauce, cheese and pepperoni.
Fried in a little butter - this makes it really good
Meal 2 - can of tuna with 1 serving of cheese
mayo and sugar free ketchup
Yes, I am weird...but I like the combo
- What do you add to tuna?
Meal 3 -
8.5 ounces of salmon
1 serving cheese
1 TBSP ranch
--Macros for the day --
Calories - 1,229
Protein - 104
Fat - 84
Carbs - 14
Net carbs - 12
So the numbers were pretty good today. Under 20 total carbs and had high protein. Also kept the calories pretty low, but was above 1,200.
Did I make all my goals from yesterday? No - I didn't work out. I also didn't get 10k steps.
I did get more protein and stay under 20 total carbs.
Goals for tomorrow:
Workout for at least 30 minutes
Get at least 5k steps
Drink more water
20 net carbs or less
Stay with the higher protein and moderate fat style of keto
So, what do you all think of this day of eating, and the new goals for tomorrow?

I've been a bit stress so on my side a bit of sweet. Stress is my weakness. But I'm working on it.

@MommyOfEli2013 I don't understand how all my friends rely on me when they are stressed. And funny part is that I'm always able to solve their problems and not mine

@BabeSays Sounds like it is because you solve their problems! That's nice of you to do, but I know it can make one tired emotionally

Well I am sure most don't like it with ketchup lol.
Well hope the tests go well and you have something good.

I enjoy what is called tuna salad, with hard boiled eggs in it, some celery cut very finely, pickle relish, a few shreds of cheese, and a bit of mayo. I also discovered that to add a dab of ranch or honey mustard is good in it too. I know we discussed tuna with ketchup, it's weird--I love pretty much everything made with tomatoes. I can take or leave ketchup, it's just kind of...blah? I don't want it on tuna, I don't think!!

@MarieCoyle I don't know if I would want tuna and eggs together. I'd definitely skip the celery and pickle stuff. I have ranch on my salmon, so may be good on tuna. Never thought of ketchup as blah, but to each their own...
