Morning Glory

The first time I came to know of Morning Glory it was just the blue colour That creeper did well in our garden and the first bloom was the morning glory but the blooms faded before noon. It is only later did I come to know there were other colours and did order for seeds. None of them did well save a dark blue. The flowers did not mature into seeds and so I could not get another crop. I have no desire to buy seeds again as whatever I buy online leads to frustration. Does any of you have these colours morning glory in your garden

When I was younger, I had once planted it in our garden. They dislike the heat since it makes them readily wither in the blazing sun and prevents them from blooming properly. To prevent them from wilting away, I position them in a shaded area. They do not like very damp soil either because that causes root rot.

@allknowing I see mine suddenly grow weary after generations passed. I think their line kind of got too used to the soil they were planted and the seeds they produced did not grow well anymore. Eventually they stopped growing anymore. That was the time too that I had to go to the cities so I was not able to take good care of them anymore.

Morning glory plants were once the go-to plants for growing over outdoor toilets. Mostly they grow well here.

May be like the railway creeper that grows on railway fences. I have that in my garden and it simply refuses to leave.

They look gorgeous. I had a few pots with them a couple of years back but none now. I had few colours. Online seeds are mostly frustration. Give your last try with Trustbasket. Can't say about flowers as I have not tried them. But I had some good produce from their veggies seeds during the pandemic. Local nurseries are best

@allknowing Hmm....Are there no local nurseries? If online is the only option, try Trustbasket.
