Have you ever lied in one way or the other?

Hallo my people! I hope you doing good wherever you are. I have woken up in a very bright morning and the sun is very up shining here. There were some rain clouds yesterday morning but it didn't rain even a drop. I however oftenly hear that in this earth you must apply some sense of a lie for you to get something or succeed in one or two occasions. I was not agreeing on that but I hear from many people that they needed to lie for them to be accepted to marry or get married to the present spouses. They insist that without lies they could hardly get someone to marry to. People tend to believe in the lies but not the truth mostly they insisted. I however can second this. This is simply because whenever I have a simple conversation with my friends they tend to be more attentive when I add a little bit of a lie in between. They are likely not bothering much on the reality part of the story. I therefore confused. Why people tend to like and embrace lies more than the truth. It is evident in many places that, the person that likes being truthful and faithfully to the reality lacks friends. I sometimes fail to understand. Where is the world going? Have a wonderful time.
