Did you have a toxic relationship that ended to a divorce /broken relationship /broken friendship?

There are failed marriages resulted to divorce or legal separation. Three are also broken relationships and broken friendships. The cause is toxic attitude of the other parties. It's hard to deal with someone having a toxic attitude, it's discouraging and decision to breaking a tie is inevitable.
I experienced having a friend at first good but after some months his true color appeared making me decide to dispersed him in my life. I'm not a stone. I'm human.

It takes a while before realizing who are your real friends. It's hard to be friends with people you recently know and befriend you because they can get something from you. I hope I was wrong with my impression that they only want my company because I am willing to share more in the expenses lol. Lesson: avoid and avoid them anyway they're not part of my original circle of friends lol.

The older i get, i dont need too many best friends, i just need a few but they are real and loyal. But i dont mind having too much friends.
Back to your question, i did experience some of toxic relationship but i managed to ended it in a hard way. LOL

@cacay1 Yes, I make sure to test that person's Temperament and everything else before deciding to have a serious relationship with them. Of course, there are times when neither of you would be particularly appealing at each one. But it will become apparent in due course.

I have an uncle and cousins who were toxic. My parents, sister and her family, my husband and my family had to sever ties. Long story. It is very sad.
