Another remodel in the house

My mom decided that she wants to remodel the kitchen in our house. Technically, it’s her house as she owns it.
Not looking forward to that.
The kitchen guy is gonna come over today. We’ll see what he can do and how much it’s gonna cost.
It doesn’t include repainting the walls, doing new tiles, and getting new appliances bought and installed. And I think the countertop and backsplash is a separate cost as well.
Walls and tiles is a different person. And appliance install would be from the place we buy them from.
Another kitchen guy will come next week. Will see what he offers and then make our choice.
Would’ve been great if my mom was here when both guys come as she’s paying for it but she’s working and can’t do that.
I wonder how long the whole kitchen remodel will take. Hope it won’t be months. I had enough of bathroom and partial basement remodel.

@RebeccasFarm Will see what happens once my mom settles on who she will choose. The second guy is supposed to come this coming week to take a look at the kitchen.

I am not sure how this whole remodel thing is gonna go. Mom wants new appliances as well. What will happen to all the food in the fridge/freezer? And we won't be able to use the stove during the remodel either. How are we gonna eat?

So just the kitchen cabinets will be changed? My kitchen sure needs a cabinet change over but I can't afford it.

Cabinets, countertop, backsplash, floor tiles, and appliances. And walls have to be repainted.

All the stuff is old so it's good it's being renovated. However, not looking forward to the whole process.
