Groundhog Day Prediction

One of the most famous groundhogs Punxsutawney Phil has predicted six weeks more of winter. We will have to wait and see if this happens. With all the ice storms it just might be true, This fellow didn’t see his shadow in the annual ceremony and has been predicting since the early 1800s. That leaves me to wonder if this is still the original Phil However, according to legend groundhog Phil takes a drink from something known as the “elixir of life” every few years so he is ready to keep on predicting. @RebeccasFarm I think so too and I also don't believe this is constantly the same Phil, But it is interesting nevertheless,

I think there have been several Phil's down through the years. I saw a doc about this. Very interesting about the little guy. I sure hope our spring and summer is less severe than it was last year.

Guess we'll see, but this weekend and next week promise to be hot. And, Feb tends to be our worst month.
