Sometimes I think I want something

I think I want something, and then it shows up. Not all of the time but often enough I feel blessed. Working in a school you get to hear about really cool books. Our librarian picks a story to read to each grade level. She is reading a book by a Kansas author to the fourth grade. It is called "The Brave Journey" part of a six book series called The Kingdom at the End of the Driveway. I was wanting to look into getting it for my grand kids. I also thought that since animals feature prominently in it, Bob would like it. I had not gotten around to looking for it on Amazon. Friday I went to the local thrift shop for the first time in months. I found the book, not with other books but on a special display. For 50 cents it was a steal.I had not planned to look for it that day. Looking on Amazon just now they want over $49. So I can say it is an entertaining book for students in the range of 10 and older. I am excited to have this to mail to my family in Minnesota.
