I could fill a whole post with cries. It is too much! It is more than too much!
How can we help? Is there any way to help?
I was devastated for years when I lost my husband and when I lost my grandson. I still have a scar.
But what sort of scar will leave this quake? Will it ever heal? Will it ever stop bleeding?
I envy people who have faith. For me it is just something with which I can“t cope.
Still, in these cases, I remember the only prayer I know and try to understand the unintelligible part: "thy will be done".15 people like this

I know how you feel. I find these quakes so scary. The poor people who are covered by rubble and may or may not make it out alive. I can't cope with it either.

My wife lived in Turkey for nine years back in the 70s. She worked as a teacher for the children of US Air Force families who lived there when we shared the base.

I heard that they are asking for some things to begin with and then, after a while, there will be help to reconstruct. Other countries have even sent trained dogs to search for people.

The terrible natural disasters always leads to a big damage. It is sad to see that. I remember such a big earthquake happened in my country in 2008. I couldn't do anything but just donated money. In fact this time I also had such kind of thought to donate money to a Turkish friend. I checked my Paypal and I was so surpised to find that there is no such a way to send others money. That's quite strange. As I remember in the past this feature was available, although I haven't tried to send anybody money from my Paypal yet.

I donated for the fires in my country. I thought about how little I could give and then I decided that even if I could give away $5 it was more than nothing.
