A nice way to eat raw cabbage

Some vegetables eaten raw are good for health but just munching on a vegetable is not how it should be.
I make a cabbage salad with raw cabbage. Just grate it, marinate it in salt, squeeze out and then add curds enriched with mustard paste. Add onion rings, chopped green chilies and top it with chopped coriander leaves.
I have not tried any other raw vegetable. Can you suggest?

That is a bit different from how we have eaten raw cabbage. I think my dad's wife made something similar. I like grated raw cabbage with a tangy dressing.

That sounds good. I enjoy raw cauliflower, broccoli, cucumbers, tomatoes and carrots. I may have left something out.

Carrots are very popular raw veggies in the US. We eat salads at least daily with lettuce, red cabbage (delicious), green onions, arugula, sometimes a tomato, and some kind of dressing.

While some vegetables like carrots can be eaten without any fuss there are others that need dressing

@allknowing Right you are, but I like the flavor of Romaine lettuce well enough to just eat a leaf by itself.

@porwest That which can be eaten raw without dressing is not what this post is all about. Yes raw veggies would be fine but they need a dressing

I used to be able for all that raw stuff, but not anymore. My digestion is not well. It is too much fiber for me ..it must be cooked.
