Highway 17 Express is a bus which goes from San Jose to Santa Cruz. It starts at Diridon Station and goes through the Santa Cruz Mountains. It ends at Santa Cruz Station, where you can take other Santa Cruz Metro buses to places like Capitola and Aptos. You can also go to the beach, of course. It is an enjoyable ride viewing the mountains and going through cities like Scott’s Valley. Students use it to commute between San Jose and Santa Cruz county.

I've never been on a commercial bus and I don't think I've been in that part of California although I'm not that familiar with California to begin with. My daughter and I have been to California twice and I've been there one time without her.

@DaddyEvil oh I see. There are advantages to using public transport, such as your car won't be vandalized in the parking lot. San Francisco has a major problem with this issue.

@Aquitaine24 I've always owned my own cars so don't need to take anything else.

Fair enough. Have you ever been 9n a bus with a scenic route? Or maybe a train?

It has been years since I have been on a commercial bus. This sounds like a great way to commute, though.

@Aquitaine24 yes, and it is far cheaper too if you just go alone without big luggage

Buses have advantages because you can sit and watch the scenery instead of drive.
