Happy Presidents Day. I have to call the pharmacy in a few minutes. I presume they are open, you never can tell though. Alot of people have off today, but mostly govt. employees the mail doesn't run, banks libraries don't open etc. I think it was last year on President's Day friend and I went to James Madison's home in Montpelier. It was free. I have also been to Mount Vernon Washington's home on President's Day. Montpelier also had a soup buffet going on on the day, so that was fun. Nice for a cool, late February day. Oddly enough, I have an Amazon delivery that is still scheduled to run for today.

Yeah, it is mostly governmental entities, even local and state governments.

@snowy22315 Today is not a holiday, but it is Fat Tuesday, there are floaters and parades in most cities, the banks close in the afternoon.

Some holidays, a person never knows for sure what's open and what isn't. Banks closed here today, as are all the schools and government offices, mail, etc.
Amazon delivers on Sundays. One of my daughters got an Amazon delivery on Thanksgiving, oddly it wasn't supposed to arriive until the day after. I hope your pharmacy is open for you.

@MarieCoyle That would be surprising for sure. Although, my parents have gotten deliveries on Christmas Eve, not on the day though I don't think...but that might not shock me.

Yes, I have gotten the Sunday delivery before. Delivering on Thanksgiving, that is interesting.

@snowy22315 Actually we did see the twins, but it was through Family Facetime.
They arrived here on Saturday morning and stayed here with us until Sunday afternoon.
It was so much fun.

Well they say it is going to anyway. So, I assume it will. Sometimes they deliver here on Sunday too, which isn't a regular mail day.

@snowy22315 in my country delivery service same sometimes work on sunday too...in very help for people who not in the home on weekday due to working in the morning untill afternoon
