20 February - What I'm Thankful for Today

Today was a good day. I probably could have gone swimming this morning, but with temps going down during the night, I didn't want to deal with icy roads this morning. So, it will be a week before I'm back at the pool. Why? Wait for it. I'm thankful for the sleep I got last night. I got 7.5 hours of sleep. I seem to be getting more sleep than usual lately. I'm thankful for the weather report this morning. We're getting snow. I should start seeing flakes soon. We're supposed to get 1-3 inches tonight and then Tuesday through Thursday we're getting over a foot of snow. Yes, you read that right. There are two models. One has 13 inches predicted, the other has 16 inches. You know which one I want. The advisories are already posted. @TheHorse you will see some really good snow pictures. I'm thankful for the exercise group this morning. I rode the bike for 30 minutes while the rest worked out to the tape. I had over half my steps this morning with the bike. I'm thankful I went shopping this morning. Not only did I get the rest of my steps, but I also figured out what to do for the potluck tonight. I bought extra fruit to make up a fruit tray. They didn't have any already made up that I was interested in. So, I will have plenty of fruit for a little while. I'm thankful I remembered to get gas on my way home. I was also thankful to get it for $3.02/gallon with my reward card. I'm thankful I have all the notifications finished. It was great spending time with you in your world. Okay, that's my day. I didn't have time to work on a book, but I still got a lot done. With all the walking I did at the store, I have over 9K steps and the day isn't over. There's still the potluck in an hour. That will be close to another thousand steps. I could easily get 10K today. What are you thankful for today? Thanks for reading. The image belongs to me.
