Back to Work Today

As with every holiday, mine has come to an end and today I went back to work. I am so unfit and breathless and was struggling to keep up with the pace. But I am so happy to day I survived the day. Now I really absolutely feel smashed so I am heading for an early kip.
Ps. Andrea is back to work too but didn't survive the full shift as he was unwell. Just this evening he tested positive for covid. I think he might have gotten it on the plane.

@DaddyEvil Yeah at least this one I was not in pain. Just a normal one. I still feel quite rested.

Many people are getting covid now since the rules had eased. My colleagues 5 of them got covid at the same time, different dept

It's been a while since you last posted here. How are you? I'm happy to see that you appear to be in good health, can live there, and are enjoying life.
I'm so sorry Andrea caught the Covid virus. It's probably best for him to take some time off and keep to himself in order to prevent spreading the illness to others. Since Covid can now be managed simply and can quickly recover from it, I am hopeful that he will be able to bounce back.

@flapiz As of now, I'm alright. There are no health issues other than the pain of aging, which I am beginning to feel. I feel like I become tired easily and occasionally have discomfort.
I was shocked to see the name Andrea because I had assumed he was a "she".

Hello it has been a while indeed. I am not perfectly healthy but I have been blessed to not have caught the virus. I am happier in a sense that I am employed and now don't feel scared to spend money. I do miss mylot. So even when I go quiet for a bit I always come back. How are you?
Andrea is being a good citizen and is staying at home. He does not look too bad as he is vaccinated.

Hello Anna. I feel fine today. I have been testing since Andrea got sick as we did board the same plane but 3rd day now and still on the negative. I will do one tomorrow just to make sure it is not incubating.
Andrea seems to be doing okay. He says there are just bouts of coughing but not all the time. I called him this morning and he looks bright and cheerful for someone with covid. I think he will be alright by the weekend.

He is getting better now. The line is pretty faint on his test today.
. Hope he recovers quickly.
