Did I tell you that Anita did not come today either? / myLot

Last week Anita did not come. I was happy because that meant saving some money and the house was fairly clean. I then decided that with Anita´s wages plus my chocolate cake cost, I would buy the awesome pair of Skechers. But now, today, Anita did not come again. I called her and she told me that she was on her holiday. Fair, I said. Now I´m asking myself what can I do with my savings. The chocolate cake? Some delicatessen for appetizers like salami, cheeses and special jars of yummy things? I am shocked at the amount I have to pay to have a helper. It is by far the biggest bill, if I call it that way. I don´t really need one every week but nobody will work if they don´t have a special day. And the interesting thing is that I must have money to pay her if she comes once a week but if they have something else to do they won´t even call. So I will just accept that and decide that I will have to clean myself. How is it where you live?

I remember you wrote yesterday saying that Anita called saying she is on holiday. I think that with the savings you can buy both the salami, the cheese and one chocolate cake.

The Skechers were paid when Anita said that she would not come last week plus a chocolate cake I was going to buy. Now with this new savings I might fill my pantry with delicatessen.

Our housekeeper (my husband's cousin) always lets me know when she can't make it. It's been 4 weeks since she's been here. We had the hot water/no heat issue; and then she had something planned. She will be coming on Monday.

We don't have a helper at home, so we do all the cleaning, but my DIL is so industrious that both of us do the cleaning and household shores by ourselves, including babysitting.

I live alone. And I could do everything before I had cancer. The chemotherapy left me with several side effects.

I do the cleaning myself. I hire a helper for deep cleaning once or twice a year.

That is not right of her to do this to you she should tell you when she is not going to come. I don’t have to deal with this because I am the one that does the cleaning

My cleaning lady always comes. If she can't or I can't have her for some reason, we choose a day that works for both of us. She needs the money more than I do.
