What if humans could live forever?

Are you in favor of humans being able to live forever? Why or why not? As for me, I wouldn't want to live forever if I grow old. Who would want to crawl like a baby and live forever like that not being able to do something for yourself? If I remain youthful forever, then perhaps I would want to live forever as well. This way, I may be able to contribute more to something positive in the world. What about you?

I've never seen old people crawl like babies... Why would they do that? I think people would get bored if they lived too long.

@Icydoll As long as they're healthy, then people would still walk around or, maybe, ride in wheel chairs.

@DaddyEvil Imagine the overpopulation should people never die, we would be one on top of another.

It depends if you're (or all of us) old but also healthy.

It is fun to grow old, you know how it feels to be helpless. You count on to another person. That makes you realize that you need somebody else so you less arrogant

I do think so as well. But I'm still not totally convinced. My faith is so small. I can't seem to be convinced totally.

The earth would have already been overcrowded millions of years ago with no resources to sustain the population. That would be horrible.

@LadyDuck indeed, right now, we have nowhere to go. Now, I'm having thoughts of a sci-fi story about this topic.

Then we may become cannibals eating others to survive - I'm having such a horrible thought, sorry. Unless, we move to other planets as other have suggested.

@Jenaisle Do other planets where life is possible exist? We are not yet even sure of this.

@RubyHawk . I think tampering with the natural flow of things is "mad" unless it is sure to make lives better.

I see, it is a personal choice, and if ever, everyone should have the right to choose.

To me that would make no sense, The world would be overpopulated and it would get tiring to keep going on and on, I think the Lord has made it for the best.

As other commenters said, we can go to live in other planets, but I agree that the Lord just planned it well.

We all really will live forever. But not on this planet, thank God. It's our choice which decides where we go to spend eternity after we die.

No one would want to live for ever. I would want to die and want a new life which would let me fulfill my wishes.

The world would get too crowded if everyone lived forever. You would definitely have to remain youthful because the advancing age would not enable you to walk or do what you want to do.

I have never seen any old people crawl like baby when they get old. I would want to live forever only if I could still do what I do now without any trouble.

Right, living healthy and well, is a ticket to people wanting to live forever. I'm happy you have never seen an old person crawl, But in the area where I lived, they could be seen rarely. It's also a metaphorical statement.

@Jenaisle It's simple.If we don't die;where would we have space/to live.Resources would get exhausted.
