A tragic event

Our son in law Jay has a band that he sings with and plays a bass guitar. He has a full time career, but the band plays at local clubs in downtown Charleston, SC.
Tammy called last night to tell us that the young wife of one of the band members committed suicide.
The couple had recently separated, but she had serious mental issues before that.
She was probably in her 30's or 40's and really beautiful in her photo. I feel so sorry for her husband and family. They didn't have children, but hopefully she had family who will miss her, too.
It's so sad she didn't get the medical and physiological help she needed. Please say a prayer for those who loved her.

I’m so sorry to hear that. I hope the estranged husband is coping. That’s hard for people to take, I don’t care what the status of the relationship is. My prayers for your son and his band mates.

Thank you. The separation was all she could take, but I think her husband did all he could.

I don't know anything about her family, but Jay is friends and a band mate with her husband.

Jay said that she had been in therapy and on many medications. So sad.

It's sad they couldn't get her committed so she could get some help. I know her husband tried everything he could.

My thoughts are with the entire family. Until you have experienced this type of loss you will never truly understand. A forever nightmare that never goes away. Support and non-judgmental listening is what they all need. So sorry to read this news.
