It takes Apex Court judges to say don't be prisoner of history

I have been saying ..we are inciting a community in the country.
Targeting them indirectly, needling them, leaving them seething in anger, which could manifest in a bad way somewhere down the lane.
Things were on the way out.....issues were on the way out.......now the wounds would be re-opened.
What does it do to us? Leaves next generation vulnerable.
This divide and rule ..with subtlety is not fair...it is below belt for a genuine Hindu like me to be resorting to.
I feel sad that people still remain hostage to history..or historic glory or trauma...
As the judges said ...there are more pressing issues to address than changing the name of cities....to sort of wipe out the history of defeat. That cannot be done...it needs to be accepted, and we need to move on.
Wow, the judges were sensitive enough to realize the situation like me.
And pragmatically tried to ensure that the next generation does not go through the same prejudices.
I am happy today.

@vandana7 I can live with a hyphen. But I want Calcutta back, too.

@vandana7 I have nothing against vengeance---It's one of my favorite hobbies---and regaining lost glory but when I visit Bom-Bay, I don't want them to say I'm in Mumbai.

That's great! Do you believe the people will listen and do it?

What the judge said makes a lot of sense.
