3 March - What I'm Thankful for Today

Today was a very good day.
I'm thankful for a good night's sleep. I haven't even needed a nap today.
I'm thankful for everything I accomplished today. I got the laundry done first thing this morning. I had it in the washer before 3 AM and out of the dryer shortly after 4:30. I got my Bible study done, played my games, ate breakfast, and walked the building by 7:30. I got the notifications finished before the exercise group. By the time exercise was over, I had my 8000 steps. I'm over 12K right now.
I'm thankful I went shopping after exercise. I remembered everything, and they had a buy one, get one free sale on supplements at Walgreens. That's a deal. I even kept to my budget at the grocery store.
I'm thankful I have all the bills for this month paid.
I'm thankful a friend came over to watch a movie with me. We're watching Ticket to Paradise with George Clooney and Julia Roberts. She needed to go back to her apartment before the end and will be back soon to finish watching the movie. Great movie if you haven't seen it. It's a comedy and one I like. Those are few and far between for me as I'm not a comedy genre person.
I'm thankful I worked on Where Eagles Soar when I got home from shopping before my friend came down. I got three chapters done. I'll need to talk to my son and his girlfriend soon about the cover for the book. The cross is almost fully visible. It won't be long before the patio is free of snow at this rate.
Okay, that's my day. It's been good and even though I'm well over 12K steps, I'm not exhausted like I was when I was near 11K a couple of nights ago.

Sounds like a good day there, that's always nice. Was a productive day too. That's good you got to enjoy that movie.

I still have a tsink full of dishes that need my attention. But, I won't do them with Chilly getting underfoot. We tried putting him on the scale again today, and had a bit of success. He lost quite a bit according to it, but he still looks healthy and well-hydrated. So I'm not too worried. With his kidnyies, I know his weight will drop. I'm thankful he still looks good and wants to prove how fun he can be.

I got the running done before the rain started. After that it was just making the dogs go potty. They didn't want to go out

Not much of a comedy genre person either but I do like Julia Roberts. I am nearly done with my online work. As long as I get one thing done I'm good.
