Do You Remember?

Wow! I too would be curious . Especially when the memory is a good one we would want to know how that person's life has progressed. I had initially posted the picture but after thinking it over l felt it probably won't be fair to him - posting his picture on the internet without his knowledge.

@LadyDuck. If l had a husband l doubt he would appreciate it either.

@Kandae11 The guy called me at work to break up with me . . . he couldn't even face me personally to do it .

@much2say. That was horrible. With that kind of attitude he would not have been the best person for you anyway. It happened for your own good.

Some first boyfriends do some very uncool things l must say.

Especially if they were good memories.

I like keeping photos that tell a story of the past. I also have clippings from newspapers that I worked on in my first job as a reporter.

Jr High ? and you recently became friends ? Very cool.

@Kandae11 Yep. She's a nice lady. She moved away from Chicago after Jr. High.

@Kandae11 We both wondered what would have happened had her family stayed in Chicago!

@sol_cee Sometimes in our youth we don't know what we really want.

When we are young it seems as if life will go on forever and forever. Life is a journey and we will all reach the end some day . So it would be nice if we made good memories and left good footprints along the way.

My first boyfriend took me to a house party on New Year' s Eve , problem is-- l hardly saw him. He had another girl at another house party that same night - l found out afterwards. Anyway we did have some fun times in the beginning.

@Kandae11 Oh yes I too remember a similar situation. Heartbreaking at the time. My friends always told me it was his loss.

Wow! That is a long time to wait on someone to do what you expect.

@Kandae11 I don't wait for him to get his karma to be honest. But during when I broke up with him 10-11 years ago, I still remember that I said may karma hits you for doing this to me. Well, I know, karma that was from God builds over time, not like us who take revenge at a short time. So consider that fair though. It was his wife who call me a beggar because I was still school that time. Not mature, okay, so I beg for him to come back. But all of a sudden his wife message me and call me a beggar. 'eww, go away you beggar, begging for his love and money' and I was like why did she meddle in our broken relationship? She was not married yet that time but she meddle. I said to myself 'God, I swear I never talk to this woman nor asking her to meddle or something, I don't even want to fight her.' I feel not fair at all for being labelled as beggar. I want to fight, but all of a sudden there is this voice asking me to stop and go on with my life. Yes, I was broken hearted, but as time goes, until 5 years later, a hunch or voice, telling me to visit social media. so I check, and they finally married around 2015-2016 I guess. But then, a voice just like 'telling me' saying okay, just go on, I let you know later.... And..... During the pandemic. You know pandemic of 2020-2022, many people lost their jobs, lost lives and such. Well, again a voice asking me to check social media. and so I did. Well, that woman. Lost her job. Even got condemned by people online, but I don't want to tell the details. So yeah, I guess for these past 10 years, God is guiding me. I guess so? I don't know too. I'm not a witch or something. I just, pray for what was right for me.

Some of us at that young age do not really know what we want , or we are not ready to be serious.

Both 14 and a first date, movies and ice cream --sounds perfect to me.

College is usually the meeting place for most young couples. And high school of course.

We do move on.

Definitely part of growing up. A part with lots of highs and lows.
